The Portwest Steelite Protector Boot is one of the best-selling safety boots in the UK trades for a plain reason: it is comfortable, it is sturdy and it is cheap enough to issue. A split-leather upper on a PU/TPU sole, a 200-joule steel toe cap, a steel midsole against penetration and a slip-resistant, energy-absorbing heel, certified S1P to EN ISO 20345:2011. Sizes UK 4 to 11, including half sizes at 6.5 and 10.5.
S1P is the rating for dry indoor and general site work; for wet sites look at the S3 boots in the range. Boots are not branded, but they belong in the same basket as the embroidered polos and trousers, and the whole kit ships together. The staff-order tool takes a size per person.
